Sketches of the Rodarte costumes for the upcoming Los Angeles Philharmonic production of Don Giovanni have been released and one can only imagine what these beauties look like in person. The designers, Kate and Laura Mulleavy, worked with Swarovski and used 130,000 crystals to create six costumes including headdresses, gowns, and wigs for the three leading ladies of the opera. If you are lucky enough to be in LA, definitely check out this production. With sets by Frank Gehry, it is one you won’t want to miss.
